E-mail validation and you!

PLEASE NOTE - This article only applied to accounts created via the Chronicle Website. If you created your account via Steam you don't have to worry about e-mail Validation!

When you create your Chronicle account, you must complete the E-mail Validation Process withing 5 days. If you haven't completed the e-mail validation process in this time, you will not be able to log into game until you complete the e-mail validation process.

Why do I need to validate my e-mail address?

Why do I need to validate my e-mail address I hear you ask? Well it will allow you to reset your account password should you forget that at any point! We will also use the validated e-mail address to contact you directly should the need arise. Also, being able to log into game is another plus!

It's not hard and will only take you a minute to do!

How to I validate my e-mail?

When you create your Chronicle Account, an e-mail is generated and sent to the e-mail address you used to create the account. This e-mail contains a link that you need to click to validate the e-mail address onto your account. Once you've clicked the link, you will be taken to a page on the website confirming that you have successfully validated your e-mail address.

That's all you need to do!

I didn't receive the validation e-mail when I created my account!

If the e-mail didn't arrive in your inbox when you create your account, you need to check your spam/junk folders to make sure it's not been filtered there by your mail provider. If there's no sign of the mail there, I need you to add noreply@a.rschronicle.com to your safe senders list.

Once you've done this, you can request that we resend your Validation e-mail on this page of the website. You'll need to enter your login details and then hit the blue button "Resend Email". A replacement validation e-mail should arrive in your inbox within a minute or two.

If this e-mail still doesn't arrive in your inbox, then you need to get in touch with us by clicking the blue "Get Help" button on the right hand side of this page.

Can I change my Validated e-mail address?

It's not currently possible to change the Validated e-mail on a Chronicle account. This is something that is being looked into, so watch this space for any updates!
